Responsibilities

  • Develop the market by acquisition of new customers - create new opportunities and leads
  • Establishing and maintaining positive contacts with existing customers from various industries on global level
  • Coordination of customer inquiries within the Group with the strong support of our international Sales & Project Team
    • Developing long-term strategy identifying potential of cross-selling of all our platforms
    • Preparing and negotiating offers
    • Initiation and regulation of global roll-out of our solutions with overall responsibility
  • Use modern sales tactics and an analytical approach when approaching new customers and position TRANSPOREON’s solutions with a clear business case
  • Understand our clients existing logistical processes and offer our web-based SaaS Logistics platform accordingly
  • Show short-term success while ensuring a medium- and long-term sustainable sales success
  • Use a CRM-System to ensure accurate Forecasting

Qualifications

  • A good understanding of Logistics / Supply Chain and / or TMS (Transport-Management-System)-solutions is a must
  • 5+ years of experience in Direct Sales of complex services and/or Enterprise software solutions (i.e. ERP- or Transport-Management-Systems). Ideally you were able to gain this experience at one of the leading software vendors.
  • A hunter with well developed farming skills 
  • Use modern sales tactics and an analytical approach when approaching new customers and position TRANSPOREON’s solutions with a clear business case
  • Proven track record of overachieving targets
  • Fluent German and English
