    Responsibilities

    • You will work in a highly motivated team of software developers to further develop our TRANSPOREON platform, the team and, not least, yourself
    • Developing software and system architecture
    • Analysing the requirements for redeveloping and optimising our software
    • Implementing the requirements through viable concepts
    • Drafting data and function models for complex problems as well as technical risk analyses and feasibility studies
    • Estimating the time and effort involved in development
    • Supporting the teams through active coaching and reviews
    • System and error analysis during development and up to the rollout

    Qualifications

    • The successful completion of a course of study in computer science, business informatics or a comparable degree
    • At least five years of experience in software engineering or software development
    • Excellent level of knowledge of design and programming (preferably with Java) and a good knowledge of databases (for example, PostgreSQL)
    • Familiarity with DevOps
    • A good overall understanding of software architecture, middleware and frameworks
    • Knowledge of Docker is an advantage
    • Team-orientated and independent work and an ability to communicate your ideas to colleagues and convince them of them
    • Excellent English skills, both spoken and written
